Employment-Linked Grant

Better Jobs Ontario

Formerly known as Second Career, Better Jobs Ontario was expanded in August 2025 to help a much wider range of Ontarians get the skills training they need to land well-paying jobs.

This grant covers tuition, books, transportation, and up to $500/week as a basic living allowance while you train.

Healthcare Career Incentive

PSW Training Program

Ontario's dedicated funding program for Personal Support Worker students combines tuition support, a clinical placement stipend, and generous post-graduation employment incentives.

If you're considering a career as a PSW — one of Ontario's most in-demand professions — this program can cover almost all of your costs.

Funding Breakdown:

Ontario Student Assistance Program

OSAP is Ontario's main student financial aid program, combining provincial and federal grants and loans into a single application. Grant portions don't need to be repaid.

OSAP is now available for full-time, part-time, and even micro-credential students at approved Ontario institutions.
